About Me and My Budget Wedding
Inspired by the research I’m doing for my own wedding (which is still ages away) and the help I’ve given friends in recent years; I decided to create My Budget Wedding as I’ve found very little help online and in magazines for those of us on a ‘normal’ budget.
We’re led to believe that an ‘average’ British wedding costs £16,000…but I just can’t believe that ‘average’ people have that much to blow on a single day…after all it’s the marriage, not wedding that counts. However, though I may be willing to compromise and budget on almost every aspect of my day – I am not willing to compromise on style and substance. I want the whole day to feel like a treat – an intimate celebration of love and loveliness. I believe I can do this – that with help from our wonderful high street and a little creativeness, my budget wedding can be chic and cheap!
I’ve created My Budget Wedding in hope of inspiring other brides on a budget to create the day of their dreams, with help and inspiration from the high street. My Budget Wedding will also scour the internet for the best deals on honeymoons, wedding insurance and other important factors related to your wedding.
