My-wardrobe – Designer Bridesmaid Dress

113For those with enough in their wedding budget to spoil a bridesmaid or two, why not head down the designer bridesmaid dress route?

A serial bridesmaid myself, I appreciate just how much money is spent on the outfits bought for me and am always left a little frustrated, knowing that I wont re-use the dresses as they scream brides attendant! Purchasing a slightly more expensive designer bridesmaid dressmight alleviate the problem – as you can offer your attendants style, quality and individuality by spending a little more…

I’m hoping to do this and off-set the balance of a more expensive dress by asking my bm’s to accessorise themselves - to style it up with their own shoes, jewellery etc in their own unique way.

If this sounds like the sort of thing you’d like to do – try My-wardrobe, where you can get your hands on dresses by cutting edge designers like this one; the philosophy di, part of Alberta Ferretti’s latest collection. Chic and sophisticated, this dress would not only suit a laid-back summers wedding, but a plethora of other events like cocktails with the girls, a summer ball or even as a guest for another wedding. Seriously worth the investment methinks.

Wedding Dress – Debenhams – Disney Bridal – Princess Wedding Dress – Designer Wedding Dress

wed01It’s a little premature for me to be looking at wedding dresses – yes we’ve found the wedding venue, but have yet to secure it, so until I know for certain, the exact location of my nuptials, I do not want to buy a dress….but that hasn’t stopped me from having a browse! I’ve had a rifle through many bridal magazines and have fallen in love (many times) with expensive designer wedding dresses, but the designer price tag is not an option and so I must look towards the high street for my perfect wedding dress.

I’m a woman’s woman – I like chocolate, chic flicks and fluffy kittens, but I never imagined myself in a Princess Wedding Dress…I’d always envisaged a stylish sheath or structured fishtail…that is until I saw the new Disney Bridal range and fell in love with Giselle, a dress inspired by Amy Adams character in Enchanted. It’s stunning, so floaty and ‘fairytale’…it exudes beauty and femininity…but it’s also far too expensive! So imagine my delight to find a dopple-ganger dress in Debenhams! The Ivory Tulle Princess Bridal Dress has floral applique throughout; sequins and beads to bodice and hem…and also has a chapel train. Designed for Debenhams by Ben DeLisi it’s a snip of a designer wedding dress price at £500! I’ll be keeping an eye on this one!

The Debenhams Wedding Service had created 29 stunning wedding dresses at high street prices, many in collaboration with to British designers – so it is possible to have a fabulous designer wedding dress without braking the budget!
